ITAC Free Amplified Phones

Disability Resource Center is a Selection Center for the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation (ITAC) Program. Free amplified telephones are available to any Illinois resident with hearing loss, blind, or speech disabled regardless of age or income. All that is needed is to have active phone service – standard, cellular, or prepaid. CapTel phones are also available at no charge. Eligible people in need of an amplified telephone may contact DRC to secure information on obtaining such a telephone.
